"Flush, Flow 'n Glow!"

Living a fulfilling life of joy and meaning is a process, sometimes even an adventure.  It doesn't mean that everything will always go smoothly and that you'll always be "happy" but it does mean that you intend to make choices that honestly feel right for YOU, no matter what the good opinions of other people are.

To break it down to the very basics, there are 2 main parts -

the FLUSH and the FLOW. When you intend to do those 2, the GLOW happens naturally!

The FLUSH is basically about getting clear on what you DON'T  want!  It's about acknowledging and RELEASING what does not serve you or feel right to you, or right FOR you.   This usually includes both some kind of physical and energetic flushing.

"Spiritual progress is like detoxification. Things have to come up in order to be released. Once we have asked to be healed, then our unhealed places are forced to the surface."  Marianne Williamson

It's about loving and respecting yourself enough to trust that you already have what you need inside of you.

It almost always starts on an emotional level with a willingness to release things like guilt, blame, judgment, resentment and labels of ourselves.

When we are aligned in our thoughts, feelings and beliefs with what we want, often things release naturally.  It actually takes a lot of energy to hold onto resentment.  Letting go and flowing forward is what is natural for us.

Sometimes (but not always) the flush phase leads to a more tangible releasing of things like jobs or relationships that are not in alignment with what who we are.  We don't even realize that we are in the habit of making most choices out of fear, instead of inspiration.

Often it's a matter of releasing thoughts and limiting beliefs that you may not even realize are keeping you in a self-imposed prison, or causing you to feel helpless or that you have no choice.

As you get clarity on what you don't want, your spirit will naturally guide you to the next phase of the process - figuring out what you DO want!  All you have to do is ALLOW it to organically lead you.

This sounds simple, but most of us use a lot of energy keeping ourselves stuck in a holding pattern of life experiences that we don't want!   The Poopinator calls this being "emotionally constipated."

"Sometimes you've got to let everything go - purge yourself.  If you are unhappy with anything....whatever is bringing you down,, get rid of it.  Because you'll find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out."   Tina Turner

When you are in the FLOW of your life, you intend to allow and navigate choices, thoughts, feelings and decisions in the direction of where your interests, heart, spirit and intuition lead you, in order to live out the unique purpose for your life, and to have whatever experiences you choose.

One definition of cancer I read is "the body fighting itself."   This resonated for me big time because I realized that my "gut" would often tell me one thing, but I had gotten into a dangerous and unhealthy habit of ignoring it and making mental decisions.  I often ignored my own inner guidance and did what others told me, even if it didn't "feel right" to me.

"There will be no comfortable resting in yesterday's definition of ourselves.  We are spiritual beings and when our spirit grows larger, so must we."   Julia Cameron

I also realized that I was in the habit of NOT doing things my gut told me to do if I didn't have the support of others.  I just didn't trust myself to make good decisions!

Often we just need to change the broken record going through our subconscious, and learn to love ourselves enough to give ourselves permission to make empowering decisions that are in alignment with our true values and intentions.

Being in the flow is also about understanding our powerful emotional system.  Emotions bring us messages.  Emotions are meant to be understood.  Sometimes we may feel we have no choice over our emotions. What we DO have control over and choice about is our actions in response to our emotions and what we feel, and what we think and believe.

It's about honoring others by giving them the space to share their opinions, feelings and emotions, without judgment.

And it's about honoring ourselves by ultimately evaluating all the information, and then trusting our own inner compass, to actually make decisions.

You are in the flow of your true self when you begin to make decisions from inspiration instead of fear.

It's simple, but not always easy!  Most of us have pressures, obligations and responsibilities that play a factor in making decisions.

The Poopinator tells us that we can still be "responsible" while holding more empowering and liberating thoughts, which ultimately lead to more empowering and liberating decisions - and it starts with "SMALL" decisions you make all the time!

Most of us are too hard on ourselves.  PATIENCE with yourself is a key to this process, to life in general!  We are always evolving, growing and changing.  It helps if we view life as a fluid process, rather than a place where we think we'll be good enough after we've arrived there.  You've already arrived! Your life is happening right now.

The Poopinator's wish is that you begin to love, honor and trust yourself enough to flow with who you really are, and trust that you have a magnificent, unique purpose for being here!

With much love and joy,
